Biography
Sister Stella Marie Langdale entered the Congregation in 1915, pronouncing first vows in 1918 and final vows in 1924.
In more than 40 years of ministering as a teacher, Sister Stella Marie taught at schools in Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Washington, D.C., Maryland and North Carolina. She also ministered at the Providence Retirement Home in New Albany, Indiana.
The commentary for her obituary described Sister Stella Marie as having a “charming graciousness. Her gentleness was evidence of a careful training … Her sweet smile and general manner were very winning.”
