Biography
Sister Regina Mary was born Rita Ring Wallace on July 21, 1934. She died on April 27, 2012. She was 77 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 58 years.
Sister Regina Mary entered the Congregation on July 22, 1953. She professed first vows on Jan. 23, 1956, and final vows on Aug. 15, 1961.
Her teaching ministry began at St. John the Baptist, Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 1956. She taught at other schools in Indiana, as well as schools in Massachusetts and Maryland. In 1978, Sister Regina Mary began ministering at Providence College in Taichung. She served there for 33 years.
She was known for her gentleness, humility and consideration of others.
