Biography
Sister Mary Terence was born on December 18, 1916. She died on October 7, 2017. She was 100 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 82 years.
Sister Mary Terence entered the Congregation in 1935 and made her final vows in 1944.
She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in education.
Sister Mary Terence ministered for more than three decades in schools in Indiana and Illinois, including eight years at St. Ann in Indianapolis. She also ministered as a visitor to the homes of the elderly and needy in Indianapolis.
She returned to the Motherhouse in 2014 and began a ministry of prayer.
