Biography
Sister Mary Eymard was born Madeline Emma Campeggo on May 21, 1912. She died on Nov. 19, 2013. She was 101 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 82 years.
Sister Mary Eymard entered the Congregation on Aug. 18, 1931. She professed first vows in 1934 and final vows in 1939.
Sister Mary Eymard ministered as a housekeeper, cook, dietitian, food service director, receptionist, in community service and as sacristan. Her ministries took her to Washington, D.C., California, Indiana and Illinois. Following retirement in 1987, she continued ministry at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany, Ind., She returned to the Woods in 2000.
Sister Mary Eymard enjoyed playing cards and loved coffee, having two cups with each meal.
