Biography
Sister Lourdes was born Caroline Kline on Feb. 5, 1919. She died on Nov. 29, 2014. She was 95 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 74 years.
Sister Lourdes entered the Congregation on Feb. 10, 1940. She professed final vows on Aug. 15, 1948.
For many years, Sister Lourdes ministered in high schools in California, Illinois and Indiana. She ministered as a home economics teacher at Immaculata Junior College before coming to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in 1964, where she ministered in education and as registrar for 11 years.
Sister Lourdes was known for saying “Don’t grow old.”
