Biography
Sister Jane Marie was born on Sept. 3, 1944. She died on Sept. 14, 2012. She was 68 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 49 years.
Sister Jane Marie entered the Congregation on Sept. 17, 1962. She professed first and final vows on Aug. 15, 1965 and 1973, respectively.
She began her teaching ministry in 1967 at St. Thomas Aquinas in Indianapolis. She also ministered at St. John in Loogootee, Indiana. After receiving Clinical Pastoral Education, she ministered in hospitals in Illinois and Michigan. In 2006, she was elected to Congregational leadership, ministering as a General Officer until 2011.
She was known for her tremendous organizational skills.
