Biography
Sister Barbara, formerly Sister Mary Martha, entered the Congregation on June 7, 1949. Currently, she resides at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods and ministers in residential services.
Sister Barbara’s family came from Alsace, France, before settling in the Corpus Christi, Texas, area, where she met the Sisters of Providence.
Sister Barbara ministered in the Corpus Christi area for many years, including volunteering at St. Pius X Parish.
She has studied music, art and dance at Indiana University.
