Sister Anne, formerly Sister Anne Loyola, was born Anne Spottswood Scott on March 2, 1929. She died on Sept. 5, 2011. She was 82 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 64 years. “Sister Jeanne Knoerle has told us she was born at home during a snowstorm on Feb. 24, 1928. She must have come in quickly, just as she left us quickly on Monday, June 10, 2013,” said Sister Jean Fuqua in her commentary for Sister Jeanne.
