St. Joseph

Joseph was the earthly father of Jesus and was married to Mary. He is known as the patron saint of workers. His feast day is celebrated March 19.

The shrine of St. Joseph on North Campus was erected and blessed on May 4, 1879. The original statue still stands, defying the elements for almost 125 years but desperately needing to be restored to its original beauty and preserved for future generations.
