Prayer for those preparing for marriage

Here I am:
About to say “I do” to a lifetime of changes.
“I do” to dirty dishes, mortgages and health scares.
“I do” to disagreements, bad days and money problems.
But “I do” too to happiness like sparkling champagne bubbles;
“I do” to anniversaries, family, challenges we’ll face together.

God, we will need you next to us
to guide us through every stage of our “I do,”
from the walk down the aisle to the last steps we take.
I pray those steps will always be in stride —
us, as one, moving forward day by day
to a future that leads us to You.
Because love always leads back to you.
Help me to be ready for this journey.
