A Prayer for the 175th Anniversary of the Sisters of Providence

O Holy One,

I pray in gratitude for Saint Mother Theodore and her companions who established a home at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. I am grateful for all those who followed in their footsteps and committed themselves to furthering Your designs. I pray for the grace to build on their legacy as so many have done throughout the world. May all who are rooted in the charism of Providence be faithful to the path marked out for this place and time. May we journey into the future with confidence in the Providence that so far has never failed us.

Ô Dieu Saint,

Je te rends grâce de nous avoir envoyé Sainte Mère Théodore et ses compagnes qui fondèrent une congrégation à Sainte Marie des Bois. Je te rends grâce pour tous ceux et celles qui ont suivi leurs pas et se sont engagés à faire se réaliser tes projets. Je prie pour obtenir la grâce de faire progresser leur héritage comme tant d’autres l’ont fait à travers le monde. Puissent tous ceux qui sont pénétrés du charisme de la Providence être fidèles à la voie tracée conduisant à cet endroit et à notre temps. Puissions-nous voyager vers l’avenir avec confiance en la Providence qui jusqu’ici ne nous a jamais abandonnés.
