Fill Me, O Holy One

May the light of the Holy One fill me and the world with love.

May my search for the sacred meaning of life keep me open to the joys as well as the sufferings of all creation.

May my life, united with Jesus the Resurrected One, be light for those who dwell in darkness.

May my heart and hands, united with the Holy One, lift up the burdens of the world in love, mercy and justice.

In the name of Jesus the Christ, may the light that dwells deep within my soul shine with grace and compassion for all of the world.
