Father’s Day Prayer
Provident God,
Creator and Sustainer of all life,
thank You for my father whose life reflects/reflected
Your abiding love and care.
Bless all fathers who are faithful and generous.
Guide fathers who struggle and sometimes fail.
Bless them with wisdom, courage and patience.
May fathers seek and be enlightened by
Your Holy Spirit in difficult and challenging times.
I pray in gratitude for all men
who provide for the material and spiritual,
emotional and intellectual needs of others,
particularly those of children and adolescents.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
