SPs at the downtown Christmas Parade – 2017

For the second year in a row, Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods have participated in Terre Haute’s annual Light Your Way Christmas parade. In only its second year, the parade included more than 75 entries and attracted thousands of people. The sisters decorated their bus with Christmas lights and wrapped packages. Sisters and staff then walked before and after the bus, dressed as gift boxes and bags, complete with bows and tissue and wrapping paper. Sisters were also present inside the lit bus, showing off their holiday spirit. Two banners were carried promoting Christmas Fun at the Woods on Dec. 9.
