Sister Mary Beth Klingel, SP, a native of Jasper, Indiana, is a general officer on the leadership team of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. She has previously served as an elementary school teacher and director of novices. Sister Mary Beth taught at the elementary level for several years prior to spending almost 30 years in pastoral ministry: liturgy, outreach, youth ministry, faith formation, administration. Her current ministry on the leadership team involves her in issues of aging, especially aging and spirituality.
