Can you provide healthy, organic produce for people in need?

If you have ever struggled to put food on the table, you know that fresh produce is one of the first things to go when money is scarce. Though healthy and full of needed nutrients, fresh fruits and vegetable are expensive. Those that are organically grown can be completely unattainable for those who are struggling. Good sources of protein are also difficult to find in a low-budget diet.

We at the Sisters of Providence‘s White Violet Center for Eco-Justice want to be able to provide first-quality fresh vegetables from our organic gardens and fresh eggs from our pasture raised chickens to people who are food insecure in our area. We need your help to do so!
The White Violet Center has been the recipient of a USDA grant for two years that has allowed us to do just that. Last year we provided food that equated to over 9,600 meals for the food insecure in the Wabash Valley. However, this year that funding has changed. We know that for every dollar we receive, we can grow and donate $1.28 worth of food. While the funding for the grant has changed, our ability to produce that amount of food still exists.

Help us continue to feed our community! The White Violet Center needs to raise a total of $35,000 over the next 30 days.* This total includes the necessary personnel, equipment, and seed that is needed to provide food in 2025 to our neighbors. With this funding we can grow and donate $45,000 worth of produce and eggs to people who would otherwise be without this wonderful source of nutritious food. *Through the generosity of many donors, we are only $8,000 away from our goal!
Please help us provide families in need with high quality produce and protein their diets would otherwise lack. Let’s use our resources for good together!
