Amy Miranda is a Providence Associate of the Sisters of Providence and a staff member in their Mission Advancement office. Amy is a 1998 graduate of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. After serving in marketing and communication for the Sisters of Providence for nearly 25 years, Amy now serves as the Congregation's annual giving manager.

A community of hope for homeless young adults

Safe Place Services of Louisville, a day shelter for homeless young adults, lives up to its name. It’s not everywhere that homeless young people can let their guard down, kick off their shoes and feel at home. At the hub shelter is 34-year-old Sister Corbin Hannah.

Sandwich and service are part of a larger mission

With that sandwich comes evidence that somebody cares. A smile. A question of how is your day. Health updates. Playful banter. For the past several years, Providence Associates Karen Goehl and Rosaline Secrest have headed up the volunteers who distribute nearly 80 sack lunches on Tuesdays and Thursdays to people in need.
