Volunteer

You can give us the gift of yourself by volunteering.

As a volunteer for the Sisters of Providence, you help continue the mission of Love, Mercy, and Justice that Saint Mother Theodore began back in 1840. We’ll help you find the right opportunity that fits your interests and lifestyle.

Volunteering brings joy and satisfaction. It’s also a great way for you to meet people, gain experience, and help your community.

“I decided to...give back to all of the Sisters for everything that was given to me. It's been wonderful. It's been a great experience to be able to help out in any way, shape, or form; but, especially, to help out the older Sisters here. It's been beyond the expectations that I had.”

“With every minute I’ve spent at the Woods, I’ve received so much more than I’ve given!  The relationships I’ve developed with Sisters, staff, and other volunteers are probably the most significant and positive in my life. I have found a new family, who love me unconditionally and with whom I share a spirituality which has deepened and broadened among them.”
