Sisters of Providence announce 2025-26 Christmas prayer and service times

The Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, have announced the schedule of Advent/Christmas season Masses and services.

All services are open to the public and to people of all faith traditions. All gatherings will take place in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Times for all services are Eastern Standard Time.

Mass on Sundays of Advent will be at 11 a.m., on the following dates: Nov. 30 and Dec. 7, 14 and 21.

Mass for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary will take place on Monday, Dec. 8, at 11 a.m.

There will be a Christmas Eve Vigil consisting of carols and more at 7 p.m., on Wednesday, December 24.

Christmas Day Mass will take place on Thursday, Dec. 25, at 11 a.m.

Other Masses during the Christmas season are the Feast of the Holy Family at 11 a.m., Dec. 28; the Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, at 11 a.m., Jan. 1, 2026, the Epiphany of the Lord at 11 a.m., on Jan. 4, 2026, and the Baptism of the Lord at 11 a.m., on Jan. 11, 2026.

The First Taizé Prayer gathering of the new year is scheduled for 7-8 p.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026.
