WVC to host alpaca open barn

Come out to the White Violet Center for Eco-Justice (WVC) farm for an up-close and personal experience during the WVC Alpaca and Friends Open Barn.

The event will take place from 1-4 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 30. Tours will be scheduled in 30-minute increments at the White Violet Alpacas Barn. The final session will take place at 3:30 p.m.

Join “Farmer Tara,” who will introduce you to the alpacas while also having a chance to meet some of our favorite chickens.

Dress appropriately for the weather. Boots or old shoes are also recommended.

Cost to attend is $7 and the registration deadline is Friday, Nov. 29.
