Sisters and nearby community celebrate Easter

It was a joyous Easter service on Sunday, with bright, aroma-filled flowers, sisters singing and triumphant piano and organ music. Families in the Wabash community regularly attend Mass with the Sisters of Providence and today was no exception.

A set of Zimbelstern bells was recently installed on the organ, adding beautiful tinkling and chiming sounds during many songs. The bells were graciously donated by Dr. Herminia Din and Dr. Darrell Bailey, in honor of Sisters Agnes Joan Li and Donna Marie Fu, in time for the Easter celebration. Buzard Pipe Organ Builders out of Champaign, Ill., purchased and installed them.
