Sisters to conduct Volunteer Open House on Oct. 25

Note: This event has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date.

Would you like to make a difference in your community?

The Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, are inviting you to join them for a volunteer open house from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and 2-6 p.m., EDT, on Wednesday, Oct. 25, in the Foley Room of Providence Spirituality & Conference Center at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.

“The open house is a wonderful opportunity for people to get to know all of the volunteer opportunities we have while enjoying some beverages and snacks,” said Volunteer Services Coordinator Sarah Knoblock.

Knoblock said the open house gives those interested in volunteering a chance to learn more about all of the ways they can give back with the Sisters of Providence, including serving at the White Violet Farm Store, Linden Leaf Gifts, visiting healthcare residents, meeting and greeting guests, working in the gardens at White Violet Center for Eco-Justice, researching and writing and more.

“I will be at the open house to answer questions while helping all those who are in attendance to apply right then and there,” Knoblock said. “The process is very quick and easy!”
