Feasting on thankfulness …

Note: This year has been difficult. We know that many of you may not be able to be with extended family during this pandemic. Through Thanksgiving, we’ll be sharing several new prayers for this Thanksgiving season. Please join us in prayer as we celebrate Thanksgiving.

Provident God,

When I think about Thanksgiving Day 2020, it is hard to accept the changes that the coronavirus asks of me this year in both where and how I will choose to celebrate this Thanksgiving Day.

Please give me the grace to be willing to take the time to truly feast on thankfulness, for all of the wonderful memories, I have of family and friends with whom I have shared Thanksgiving Day in the past.

May your Spirit fill me with creative ideas on new ways to connect with my family and friends this Thanksgiving, while respecting all of our needs to stay safe and stay well.

And may whatever I decide to be and to do this Thanksgiving Day be blessed by You.

Amen.
