A walk in the Woods during social distancing

Embraced in a saintly mother’s arms
Kissed by a God who loves me
Held at a distance by women whose eyes and hearts hold great love.
God is in these Woods.

Nature’s song in birds and chittering squirrels
The Spirit’s breath of wind upon my cheeks
Immersed in my favorite place to love my God.
The building may be closed, but I have been to church.

Thankful to these Woods for feeding my spirit.
