Wabash Valley students participated in the Sisters of Providence, Teen’s Got Talent Show on Saturday, March 7. The sisters enjoyed several different types of dance, including ballet and a traditional Filipino dance as well as musical performances on piano, xylophone, and viola. This brilliant display of talent was followed up by a little competition called “Name that Tune Baby,” where teams of teens and sisters competed to guess the name of songs being played by a very talented young lady who has mastered the recorder. Several of the students who participated in this event are regular attendees of the Sisters of Providence, Teen Volunteer Opportunity, a program that allows students to engage one-on-one with sisters, and other Woods residence –building bonds and making an impact on the future one experience at a time.
I enjoy seeing children having fun with the Seniors I am sure that they enjoyed one another.
