Introducing Foley Park Pavers

We are excited to announce another location on this “holy ground” of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods where donors may honor or memorialize loved ones or recognize special occasions. Foley Park will be that special place and Foley Park Pavers will be the medium for the message.

Foley Park, a pleasant, grassy area with benches, directly in front of the Providence Spirituality & Conference Center (PSCC), was the site of the original academy, Foley Hall. Two walk ways, one on the east and the other on the west, traverse the park from the avenue fountain toward the entry of PSCC.

These walkways are used daily by students and staff at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, as well as Sisters of Providence and staff, visitors, tour groups and guests.

Individuals memorialized or honored with a Foley Park Paver will be automatically enrolled in the Blessed Sacrament Association, where they are prayed for daily by the sisters in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. A Mass is offered in the Church of the Immaculate Conception once a month for those individuals enrolled.

A Foley Park Paver is the perfect way to give a gift in honor or memory of a parent, another family member, former teacher, classmate or some other special person. Donors often wish to honor special occasions, such as anniversaries or jubilees or they may just want a unique gift for that hard-to-buy-for-person.

Go to:
foleyparkpavers.sistersofprovidence.org for dimensions of pavers, pricing and ordering or call 812-535-2800 for a Foley Park Paver brochure and order form to be mailed to you.

Deadlines for ordering:
Jan. 1, 2018 for late March/April installation, weather permitting.
July 1, 2018 for late September/October installation, weather permitting.
Foley Park Pavers will be laid first on the walkway to the east (nearest the Church of the Immaculate Conception).
