Sister Marie Brendan entered the Congregation in 1946, and is celebrating her 70th Jubilee this year. Currently, and she ministers as the moderator of Providence High School Alumnae, while living in Eagle River, Wis.

This photo – taken in 1965 – depicts Sister Marie Brendan (left) with Sister Francis Angela Kolb (RIP) holding “In God’s Providence,” an album’s worth of chorale performances by the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. The music is currently available at Linden Leaf Gifts.
Both Sister Marie Brendan and Sister Francis Angela were also preparing for the Sisters of Providence 125th anniversary concert when the photo was taken. #throwbackthursday #tbt

Just as I remember her when I came to the Woods in 1965!
The finest voice teacher I ever had.
