Barbara Early: A Desire to Help Out

Barbara Early and her husband Rex have three children and six grandchildren. The couple has been married for 51 years. Barbara and Rex are members of Christ the King Parish, Indianapolis.

Barbara’s connection to the Congregation: Barbara was influenced by the Sisters of Providence for 12 years. She was educated by the sisters at St. Francis Xavier Grade School, also known as Old Cathedral, in Vincennes, Ind. She graduated from St. Rose Academy, Vincennes.

Why does Barbara support the Congregation? “I’ve always felt it was a sacrifice for the sisters and priests. I always heard how little they lived on. They were very dedicated. I’ve worried about them [as they become older]. This is my thing. I want to help out,” shares Barbara.
