Where/when were you born?

I was born in 1949 in Southern Indiana and was raised in Tell City, Indiana

Where do you live now?

I live in Saint Mary’s Village, Indiana.

Schools attended and degrees received:

I attended Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL and graduated with a BS from Butler University in Indianapolis. I also have an MA from University of Notre Dame.

Jobs and titles you’ve held, dates in those positions:

Currently, I work as a consultant in Development and Finance with the Sisters of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Terre Haute.

Previously, I was the President of Associated Door & Plywood Company, Inc. and Powell-Stephenson Lumber Co., Inc and Dixx Lumber Company, Inc. in Terre Haute and Wilkinson Lumber Company, Inc. in Sullivan, IN. I was also corporate Secretary of William Tell Woodcrafters, Inc. and Swiss Plywood, Inc. in Tell City, IN.

Other board positions/memberships/awards:

I have served on a number of Boards over the years. I was the first female director of the Indiana Lumber and Builders Supply Association of Indiana where I won the President’s Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award. For the Sisters of Providence, I was a President and a Board member of the Woods Day Care/Pre-School, Inc. I am currently on the Editorial Board of Hope Magazine and of course, Educational/Family Services Board. In the past, I served as Board member and President of the Terre Haute Deanery Board and the Saint Mary’s Village Church Boards. I also served as the co-chair of the Wabash Valley Friends of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.
