Biography
Sister Patricia was a native of Chicago. Her final ministry was in prayer at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.
Sister Patricia, formerly Sister Anna Marie, entered the Congregation on July 21, 1952. She professed first vows on January 23, 1955, and final vows on January 23, 1960.
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and a master’s degree from the University of Northern Illinois.

Sister Patricia said she was on a summer ministry at Bedford Hills Women’s Correctional Center in New York where Jean Harris had been incarcerated.
“She was convicted of killing the Scarsdale Diet Dr. Herman Tarnower,” Sister Patricia said. “We became friends during that time. I worked in the Children’s Center bringing children to visit their mothers in prison.”
