Biography
Sister Miriam Clare was a native of Clyde, Missouri. She passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020, at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. She was 95 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 75 years.
Sister Miriam Clare entered the Congregation on August 12, 1944. She professed final vows on January 23, 1952.
She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in education.
Sister Miriam Clare ministered in Indiana, Illinois, Oklahoma and Missouri, including serving as a teacher at St. Philip Neri in Indianapolis from 1966 to 1971.
