Biography
Sister Mary Jo is a native of Terre Haute, Indiana. Her last ministry was in the Congregation’s health care department.
Sister Mary Jo, formerly Sister Joseph Maureen, entered the Congregation on January 8, 1945. She professed final vows on August 15, 1952.
She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in education. She also has an LPN from Indiana Vocational Tech, now known as Ivy Tech Community College.
Sister Mary Jo ministered as a teacher in Indiana, California, Mississippi and Illinois. She also ministered as a nurse at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods for many years.
