Sister Mary Jeanine Schubert

Biography

Sister Mary Jeanine was a native of Chicago. Her final ministry was in prayer at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.

Sister Mary Jeanine entered the Congregation on September 18, 1961. She professed first vows on August 15, 1964, and final vows in May 1970.

She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in education. She also has a master’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Illinois.

Of her ministries, Sister Mary Jeanine has taught primary grades in Indianapolis at Saint Andrews. She also ministered as a teacher in Chicago at St. Agnes, St. Francis Borgia and Maternity BVM. Sister Mary Jeanine also ministered at the America Medical Association in Chicago for 24 years.
