Biography

Sister Marie was born on October 27, 1942, in Chicago.

She entered the Congregation on September 12, 1960. She professed first and final vows on August 15, 1963 and 1968, respectively.

Sister Marie ministered as a music teacher from 1965 to 1975 and also ministered in pastoral theology, working as a pastoral psychotherapist. She was also a member of the Congregation Leadership Team for 15 years, while also ministering as the program director for the Leadership Conference of Women Religious.

Currently, Sister Marie ministers as a consultant  and spiritual companion at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. Prior to that, she ministered as the Associate Director of Programs for the Leadership Conference of Women Religious.

She said she enjoys cooking and entertaining “when I have the time.”
