Sister Margaret Norris

Biography

Sister Margaret, formerly Sister Marie Angeline, was a native of Jasper, Indiana. Her final ministry was as a massage therapist at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.

Sister Margaret entered the Congregation on July 22, 1949, and professed perpetual vows on Jan. 23, 1957.

She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in education, and also earned a master’s degree in education from Indiana University.

She ministered primarily as a teacher in many locations, including teaching at Tenth Street School in Jasper, from 1969-78, and teaching at Fifth Street School in Jasper, from 1983-2001.
