Biography
Sister Marceline was a native of Henderson, Kentucky. Her final ministry was in prayer at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.
Sister Marceline entered the Congregation on February 10, 1933. She professed final vows on August 15, 1941.
She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in English. She also has a master’s degree in biology from the University of Notre Dame.
Sister Marceline began her teaching ministry at St. Francis Xavier in Wilmette, Illinois, in 1935. She taught at 13 different schools until becoming an instructor in life sciences at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in 1966. Sister Marceline then ministered as a teacher of Our Lady of Providence School in Clarksville, Indiana, before teaching at Immaculata in Washington, D.C., from 1970 to 1982.
She also ministered as a pastoral associate.
