Sister Lucille was born on March 11, 1929 and died on December 25, 2023.

Sister Lucille, formerly Sister Mary Lucille, was a native of Galesburg, Illinois. Her final ministry was in prayer at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.
Sister Lucille entered the Congregation on July 22, 1947 and professed final vows on January 23, 1955.
She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in music education. She also earned a master’s degree in music education from the University of Illinois.
She’s been a teacher and a director of music and liturgy for almost 60 years before she worked with the ministry to the homebound in Chicago.
