Biography

Sister Joan is a native of Walsenburg, Colorado. Currently, she ministers in prayer at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.

Sister Joan, formerly Sister Joan Patrice, entered the Congregation on July 22, 1956. She professed final vows on August 15, 1964.

She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. She also has a master’s degree in administration from the University of Notre Dame and another master’s degree in counseling psychology from Santa Clara University.

She has ministered in education, administration and counseling in Indiana, Illinois and California.

Not pictured: 60-year Jubilarians Sister Agnes Clare Buckley and Sister Mary Adrian Jaroch.
