Biography
Sister Betty, formerly Sister Ann Martin, is a native of Chicago. Currently, she ministers as a volunteer at the Cook County Jail and VA Hospital in Chicago.
Sister Betty entered the Congregation on July 22, 1957 and professed final vows on August 15, 1965.
She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in education. She also earned a master’s degree in special education – with a concentration in learning disabilities – from Northeastern Illinois University.
She has conducted multiple ministerial educational functions in Chicago.
