Biography
Sister Camille was born in Washington, D.C. She entered the Congregation in 1961, professing first vows in 1964 and final vows in 1969.
Sister Camille died on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019, at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana.
Sister Camille graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in music education. She also has a master’s degree in organ from Washington University in St. Louis.
Sister Camille’s first ministry was teaching music at Our Lady of Providence in St. Louis. She also taught music at Holy Redeemer in College Park, Md., and also ministered as the director of music and liturgy at St. Bernadette Church in Silver Springs, Md., and the director of music ministries at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, also in Silver Spring, from 1993 to 2001.
From 2002 to 2009, Sister Camille ministered as the Congregation’s Coordinator of Liturgical Music.
