Biography
Sister Barbara, formerly Sister Alexa Marie, was born on October 30, 1942, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She entered the Congregation in 1964, professing first vows in 1967.
Of her ministries, Sister Barbara has served as a grade school and high school teacher, dietitian and pastoral associate. Currently, she ministers as the treasurer at Providence Hall as well as a driver and in health care at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.
Sister Barbara said that as a child, she was a “tomboy,” as she enjoyed playing all kinds of sports. However, she enjoys her time on the golf course now.
