Biography

Sister Ann Stephen was a native of Wabash, Indiana. Her final ministry was in prayer at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.

Sister Ann Stephen entered the Congregation in 1960, professing first vows in 1962 and final vows in 1967.

She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in education and earned her master’s degree in education from Indiana University.

Of her ministries, Sister Ann Stephen taught at St. Jude in Fort Wayne, Indiana, from 1966-1969, and also taught at St. Malachy in Brownsburg, Indiana, from 1969-1975. From 1977-1985, she taught at St. Anthony in Gardena, California, and from 1988-2007, she served as principal at St. Anthony.

She returned to the Woods in 2008.
