White Violet Farm Alpacas (see map at bottom of page) has its main barn on Marion Drive. Parking is available in the Owens Hall lot or in the lot near White Violet Center for Eco-Justice.

Directions to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods is five miles northwest of downtown Terre Haute, Ind., off U.S. 150. Saint Mary-of-the-Woods is 77 miles west of Indianapolis; 190 miles south of Chicago; 160 miles east of St. Louis; and 113 miles north of Evansville.

From Terre Haute

From Vigo County Courthouse, head west on Cherry St./U.S. 150 (former U.S. 40). In West Terre Haute, turn north (right) to stay on U.S. 150. Proceed approximately 2 miles to St. Mary’s Road and the sign for Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College/Sisters of Providence. Turn left on St. Mary’s Road. Proceed to main entrance (second gate) and turn right.

From I-70 (traveling east or west)

Take Exit 3: Darwin Road. Proceed north on Darwin Road to National Ave. Turn right on National Ave. and proceed to U.S. 150 in West Terre Haute. Turn north (left) on U.S. 150 (at a stop light) and go two miles to St. Mary’s Road and the sign for Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College/Sisters of Providence. Turn left on St. Mary’s Road. Proceed to main entrance (second gate) and turn right.

From S.R. 63 (traveling north or south)

Turn west on Bolton Road (approximately 9 miles south of Clinton, Ind.) Proceed to U.S. 150, turn left. Follow U.S. 150 down the hill to St. Mary’s Road (do not turn at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College’s School of Equine Studies). Turn right on St. Mary’s Road. Proceed to main entrance (second gate) and turn right.
