- This event has passed.
Feast Day for Our Lady of Providence
November 19 at 11:00 am – 12:00 pm EST
The Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, and Providence Associates invite persons of all faith traditions to join them in person or virtually for the Eucharistic Liturgy (Mass) at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 19, to celebrate the Feast Day of Our Lady of Providence.

Celebrate the Feast Day of Our Lady of Providence by joining the Congregation and Providence Associates for a special Mass.
The liturgy will take place in the Church of the Immaculate Conception at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, located 10 minutes northeast of downtown Terre Haute.
Dedication to Mary under the title of Our Lady of Providence began with the first shrine dedicated to her in Italy in 1664. In May 1925, the Sisters of Providence established the National Shrine of Our Lady of Providence in the United States.
In April 2014, the National Shrine of Our Lady of Providence was rededicated in a new location, the vestibule of the Church of the Immaculate Conception.
