The Providence Community of Providence Associates and Sisters of Providence as well as the larger public, is invited to join us for the Providence Community’s spring retreat. Join us as our own Father Terry Johnson leads us to reflect on our place in the universe and how we reach for the Divine within it.

Diversity, Communion and Interiority are “the golden thread that holds the Universe together…” according to religious thinkers Thomas Berry and Brian Swimme. We will explore together these concepts as invitations for us to be in relationship with ourselves and all our kin in the universe, both human and other than human.

Join us as we come together for moments of reflection and conversation with each other and all our kin. Together let us strive to listen to each other and come into deeper relationship with the universe!

Father Terry currently serves as chaplain for the Sisters of Providence at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. He celebrates liturgy and prays with the community and is willing to listen to any who are interested in exploring their ever-evolving relationship with the Divine. Father Terry has ministered previously as a high school theology teacher, a director of religious education, a pastor, spiritual director and supervisor, and as an adjunct instructor in spiritual direction at Loyola University in Chicago.
