Virtual Alpaca Encounter!

February 27, 2021 at 10:00 am - 11:00 am EST

$15 – $25

Open for registration. Registration deadline: February 19, 2021.

Visit the famous alpaca herd at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods and get up close and personal with this amazing animal from the comfort of your own home.

See why they are so beneficial to the White Violet Center for Eco-Justice’s USDA-certified organic farm. Learn about their magnificent fiber, how it comes from the animal and is transformed into luxurious textiles.

Then watch a demonstration on how to felt an ornament from alpaca fiber. Order your own kit and follow along.

Cost is $15 plus $10 (optional for each alpaca ornament felting kit) per person.  Please register by Feb. 19.
