$25 per person and includes felting project

Visit our (almost) famous alpaca herd at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. Learn about the origins of alpacas and why they are so beneficial to our USDA-certified organic farm.

See and feel their sheared fiber and go step by step through each process that occurs after shearing which includes skirting, carding, and spinning as well as a hands-on demonstration on how to weave using a tabletop loom.

Learn about other products made from alpaca fiber. There will also be a chance to make your own felted ornament at the end of the experience.
