Advent Meditations
December 16, 2024 at 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm EST

Remember and reflect on the birth of Jesus during the Advent season. Join the Providence Community for a new virtual event series from the Shrine of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin. Give yourself an hour each Monday evening in restful anticipation to meditate on the hope, peace, joy and love that the birth of Jesus promises. Leaning toward the Light of Jesus’ birth is especially helpful when our nights become longer in the heart of Winter.
Advent Meditations will use music, imaginative prayer, Lectio and Visio Divina, silence and breath meditation from a variety of faith traditions to align our minds, hearts and spirits on the greatest gift the world has ever known and return our focus to the true root of the Christmas holiday — Jesus.
