Learn the basics of saving your own garden seeds including how to select the best flower and vegetable varieties and the best way to store your seeds. White Violet Center staff will use the garden as a classroom for hands-on activities.
Candace Minster is the garden manager and fiber projects coordinator at White Violet Center for Eco-Justice where she has been employed for more than 10 years. Her areas of expertise include organic gardening, worm composting, food preservation (canning, fermentation, pickling), beekeeping, fiber arts (knitting, spinning and weaving) and fiber processing. Candace is a passionate advocate for developing sustainable and just local food systems and an avid baker.
