This class is designed for people who have spun before, but are in need of further instruction, need a refresher course for their skills or are interested in trying different fibers, spinning or plying techniques.
Participants should be able to spin yarn comfortably on their own, but do not need to be expert. Spinning wheels and a variety of fibers will be available for use, though students are strongly encouraged to bring their own wheels and fiber.
Robin Edmundson of Robin J. Edmundson's Designs is an award-winning fiber artist specializing in color. She has extensive experience teaching and lecturing on spinning, weaving, dyeing, color theory and creativity. She was a recipient of an Indiana Artist Grant by the Indiana Arts Commission and her work has been featured in many fiber arts exhibitions and fine art/craft shows.
