The Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, invite persons of all faith traditions to join them in celebrating their Foundation Day with a special Mass.

The Mass will take place at 11 a.m., on Thursday, October 22, in the Church of the Immaculate Conception at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.

Join the Sisters of Providence as they recognize their heritage and honor the day Saint Mother Theodore Guerin – foundress of the Sisters of Providence – and her five companions first set foot upon the soil at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods on October 22, 1840.
